Hero: the register search is the first interactive element.

Overview

A redesign of the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists' website: the national register of therapists, membership applications, professional development points, documents and news, brought together on one fast, readable page.

01

The problem

The site serves two very different visitors. People looking for a licensed therapist want a name and a city, quickly. Therapists come back for registration, points and paperwork. Both should find their way in seconds, without either getting in the other's way.

02

The approach

Register search sits right in the hero. Everything a member needs gets its own clearly labelled block, and the application became a four-step form (personal data, qualifications, documents, review) instead of one long sheet. The whole page ships as a single static file with its images inlined.

What I did
  • Information architecture for public visitors and members
  • Visual system: editorial serif headings, soft clay and sky panels
  • Register search with city examples and live results
  • Four-step membership application with progress
  • Responsive layout from phone to wide desktop
What shipped
  • Search of the national register by name or city
  • Free counselling and registration information up front
  • List of recognised psychotherapy modalities
  • Professional development points overview
  • Membership application in four steps
  • News, chamber bodies and documents
Outcome

A calmer front door for a professional body: the register is one search away, and members get a page that respects their time.
